Pre-requisite qualifications:
It is an awarding body requirement that learners joining a FREC 4 course must already hold FREC 3 or an accepted equivalent
First Response Emergency Care Level 4
We deliver the Qualsafe Level 3 Award in First Response Emergency Care (RQF) course for individuals and organisations requiring a nationally recognised and accredited qualification in pre-hospital emergency care.
Delivered by pre hospital care professionals with real-world operational backgrounds, our FREC 3 course combines engaging classroom teaching with practical, scenario-based learning. Training is available at our dedicated training suites in Glasgow and Edinburgh, or can be delivered on-site for group bookings.
You will fulfil the competencies set out in the PHEM skills framework at level D, gaining the knowledge and practical skills needed to deal with a range of prehospital emergency care situations.
Who Should Attend?
The FREC 4 course is perfect for a range of learners including:
- Event medical staff
- Security personnel
- Mountain rescue volunteers
- First aiders in high-risk industries where a workplace risk assessment identifies that First Aid at Work alone would be unsuitable.
- Individuals with an interest in or looking to progress further into emergency care roles
